Born Dawn Angelique Richard, Dawn had a passion for music and entertainment at a young age. Practicing her skills in dancing and singing, Dawn spent much of her childhood in her mother’s dance studio. Her dad, Frank Richard, was in a funk/soul band called Chocolate Milk. So it is safe to say that Dawn was born to love music. Dawn joined music group Danity Kane in 2005 and the band went their separate ways in 2009. After that, Dawn joined music producer Sean”Diddy” Combs’ collective Diddy-Dirty Money. Since then, Dawn has released three albums: GoldenHeart, BlackHeart and RedemptionHeart.
